Bedbug911 was established as a separate company when it became obvious to Nicole Waizman-Levine, that her company, Home Clean Home (HCH), was being overwhelmed with job orders for bedbug eradication. Residential and commercial clients, using HCH for their cleaning and maintenance needs were experiencing a bedbug infestation that was spreading throughout New York in proportions not seen since the 50’s. She knew then and there that a new company would need to be set up to handle the work load in the same efficient style and business method used in running HCH. HCH's expertise in the cleaning business would complement and add value in servicing her new growing bedbug eradication business, Bedbug911.
Bedbug treatment is nothing like any other pest extermination job, the work of annihilating bedbugs entails a comprehensive approach. An exterminating company in conjunction with a cleaning company would be a perfect fit in killing bedbugs since one without the other would and could not do the job properly. Unlike any other pest extermination, bedbugs do not eat poison they only feed from blood. It is mandatory and essential to use step by step measures. The first and most important step is to prepare the premises for extermination; ie. getting rid of clutter, bagging and cleaning laundry, cleaning and vacuuming carpets and floors by using high suction vacuum apparatus and steaming all crevices. Only after the premises are 100% clean and uncluttered does the exterminating process start, this is followed by patching and covering all nesting spots (walls, floors and ceilings).
As part of Bedbug911’s services, we dispose of the infested mattresses or any other furniture and can exchange them for new furniture at wholesale prices. We also cover mattresses and pillows with protective bedbug proof encasements. This in short is “the process”.
